I have used Greenwood for several years now for all sorts of central heating and plumbing problems. They are efficient, polite, responsive, effective, trustworthy and generally decent people who get the job done for a fair price. Highly recommended. They are my first port of call for plumbing/heating problems!

I have had Greenwood Heating out several times for two different boilers, first company that has actually serviced my boiler properly - previous services (British Gas amongst others) included a visual inspection and signing a bit of paper - Greenwood heating actually serviced the boilers, showed me what needed doing and explained everything, emptied condensation trays, emptied and cleaned out the black filter (can't remember what it's called) - all at a sensible cost. 2 x leaks fixed, one seal and one distributer - excellent knowledge and they always fit me in when I need them, so impressed.

I have used Greenwoods for many years. The job that convinced me to use them was a long-term, slow pressure loss from the boiler. Of all the firms that I had approached, they were the most reliable, friendly and honest. They came to look at the job, spent a while assessing things, and although they didn't find the problem on the first visit, they gave lots of advice and tips, and did not charge for the assessment. I have always found them to be honest, reliable and dependable, and they are now my "Go to" plumbing firm when I need work done. Recommended.

Darren and his team were absolutely fantastic. They worked quickly and overcame any hurdles replacing our very antiquated heating system with a new system with hive which is fantastic. Fitted new radiators and will be coming back to fit our floor mounted cast iron radiators once our floors have been fitted. We are delighted!!

Highly recommended local tradesman. First contact was prompt and efficient and appointment to assess the UFH was a few days later. Darren and his assistant were very personable, explained everything clearly and were very knowledgeable. The issue was diagnosed promptly, parts ordered and within a week the job sorted. I can't recommend Darren highly enough. I felt he was honest and wasn't out to get as much out of me as possible. I said I would probably use him for annual servicing of UFH and he was very honest and said that it isn't necessary. I appreciated that.

Highly recommend! Quote was considerate of our needs and impact on the rest of the heating system (shower) as well as future proofing if we decide to extend the property. Excellent service from Greenwood. They came out on the same day we called them to diagnose the problem with our boiler, and then returned the following working day with the parts to repair it. They were recommended to us by a neighbour, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Top marks for Darren in every department. He was on time, polite, knowledgable, thorough... he wore protective overshoes, explained the issue and options clearly, and left everything tidy. His bill on time and materials basis was less than a quote I had from someone else so I'm really pleased and will use him again.

I called Greenwood Heating on the Wednesday, was advised they would be out the following day. Darren called ahead and promptly arrived. He quickly worked out the problem with the boiler and made the effort to source the part and return the same afternoon to carry out the work required. He also serviced the boiler at the same time. Could not recommend them enough.

These guys are great. They respond quickly, are very thorough and gave a reasonable quote. On the day of the installation they were quick and very tidy - protecting floors and cleaning up after themselves. Would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Very professional, swift and pleasant service. Arrived earlier than booked, but did not force their way in, politely waited and asked if it would be ok to come in. One of the engineers Dom (unfortunately I do not know the other's name, but he was also lovely) was so cheerful and happy, not only he serviced our boiler, he brightened our day! He also offered help to carry heavy boxes (unrelated delivery parcels) from the front door to our flat - I really did not expect that! What a wonderful chap. I think a pay rise should be in order.

We regularly use Darren and his team. This time to tidy up pipe work and connect gas hob during a kitchen refit. As usual both jobs done on time and quality work.

Darren, Dom and Zach did an amazing job installing my new boiler, outside flu and plume, and new Nest controls to an incredibly high standard of quality and professionalism. Accurate and fair quotations on all options and responded to all my initials requests in a timely and informative manner. Left my place looking spotless, taking the time to vacuum and clean with full operational test and explanation of the new controls after two weeks without heating or gas heated water. Full affiliation with Worcester Bosch gives an extra level of assurance to their great work. Complete professionals.

Called Greenwood in the morning about the low pressure in my boiler. Couple of hours later turned up, found the adjustment not as easy as hoped due to the controls being too tight after previous work (before my ownership). Boiler was subsequently re-pressurised successfully and is now spot on. Highly recommended.

I've got a small job needs to be done but it requires lots of communication beforehand, Darren has been patient throughout 2 weeks of communication and has been answering every single question promptly and reliably despite the size of the job. Very satisfied with the result of the job and would definitely recommend.

Friendly yet professional and competent service at a fair price

I would not hesitate in recommending Greenwood. My old boiler died and they were to provide a reasonable quote that gave me a practical solution without trying to sell me something I did not want or need. From the start they protected my carpets, cleaned up after themselves and did a good installation job. Just make sure to provide them with tea!

This is the third time I've used this company, and as always I'm delighted with the work they've done for me. My heater was replaced with no problems at all, and both Dom and Zak carried their work out with the utmost but still friendly professionalism. This is where Checkatrade really comes into its own. I won't use any other company but Greenwood now for my plumbing needs, because I know I can completely trust them. I will very happily recommend them to anyone.

I returned to Greenwood as they did such a good job fixing my bathroom. In terms of the boiler they were amazing and would highly recommend to anyone. The workmanship was second to none, very knowledgeable, they kept the house tidy, designed a solution to fit my individual needs and more than delivered on the quote and work they promised. The finish they applied to the installation was way above my expectations and something that I am very pleased with. Without question the best trades people I have ever dealt with.

Zak was excellent. Needed repair on Vokera Vision 30C boiler. Zak immediately identified that the condenser outlets/traps were clogged. He expertly removed, cleaned and replaced pieces with minimum effort, while talking me through the problem and how it can be avoided. Very impressed with professionalism.

We have been very happy with the friendly, polite and professional service provided by Greenwood Heating. They found the fault quickly, sent a quote for repairs and were able to fix the boiler in a short timeframe. Will definitely be using them again.

I can't thank Darren and his team enough for replacing my heaters thermostat so quickly. Even though they were busy with other customers, they came out to do the work the day after my first call, and both Darren and Dom were so helpful and friendly. Very happily recommended!!!

From the initial contact with Darren through to completion of the work he was very professional, efficient and informative. Communication was very good and all queries were answered promptly prior to and during installation. It was evident that Darren and his team ( his two sons) take a pride in their work and the quality of their work reflects this. They work very well as a team and are very tidy. The work was well planned and undertaken efficiently. The work areas were clean and carpet coverings provided. There was good communications with us about what was happening and despite being let down by one of the suppliers the work was completed in the 2 days expected. I would recommend Greenwoods.

Have previously used Greenawood for several previous jobs. This time it was to take out a sink and bath and turn into a utility area. The job was completed brilliantly. They took the trouble to find matching tiles to those already there and retiled some damaged areas where sink came out etc and this is completely unnoticeable. Really good finish.

Excellent. Friendly service, accurate quote and timing. Cleaned up thoroughly and all the work has been neatly fitted and professionally finished. Very pleased with the outcome.

Called Greenwood to come and look at loss of heating and hot water. Call was returned within a couple of hours, engineer was booked for the next day. Zak arrived and quickly diagnosed the fault was with the pump. It had failed and been leaking resulting in total loss of pressure. Replaced the pump and bled the system, all back up and running within a couple of hours. Top chap, knows he stuff and answered any questions I had. Highly recommend.

Replaced an old back-boiler with a new Combi boiler installed in the loft space, running new pipework and connecting into the existing system, plus replacing all the existing radiators as well as installing an additional one. From the first - Darren providing advice and a quotation for the work - through to completion, the team of Darren, Zak, Kane and Dom were all very professional, polite, punctual and completed the work to a high standard and to cost, finishing in a little over 3 days. My boiler broke down during the current freeze and having used Darren and his colleagues before I immediately contacted him for advice. An engineer called the same day, diagnosed and thawed out the frozen pipe and restored the heating. It was a very cold and windy day but the engineer made a quick and effective repair. I thoroughly recommend Darren and his team and intend to use them again soon.

Liam come out on a Sunday Night to look at problem with my combi boiler always needing re pressurising. Was at my house about 3/4 of an hour. Said he'd be back but boiler not gone off since and won't even let me pay him for his time. 5 star service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent work servicing and checking the boiler for a carbon monoxide leak. Very professional and adjusted boiler to make it work more efficiently. Will definitely use the company again and would recommend to others.

New radiators fully installed. We had just had new floors put in as well, so lifting the floorboards for the pipes was made more difficult. The team were very sympathetic to this on installation and did an excellent job, so much so that you wouldn't notice that this had been a problem of our making. Very pleased with the result.

One visit for the safety certificate and boiler service, another visit to install the new expansion vessel. Darren was communicative and very reliable. The boiler service on the initial visit revealed the need for a new expansion boiler. On both visits he did a good job for a reasonable charge. I found him to be proactive (he suggested liaising with my tenant directly regarding appointments), communicative and completely trustworthy. He and his company are a credit to the trade. I will continue to use his services, and will be recommending him to all my friends and family.

Darren fixed a hammer pipe problem which had been bothering us (and getting worse) for quite some time. Over two years ago we had another very well known local plumber visit the property to assess the problem - he asserted there was nothing that could be done to fix the problem (without ripping the pipes out). We, therefore, lived with this stupid issue until finally calling Darren for a second opinion. He fixed the problem within an hour!

Darren and Zak has sorted out several issues over the last 6 months including fixing leaks, trying to keep the old boiler going and installing a new boiler. They have always been quick to respond to both emergencies and non-time critical calls, arrived on time, carried out the work promptly and efficiently and at a reasonable cost. Brilliant. Tried to save me money by pointing out how easily I could do the job myself. In fact I ran into difficulty because the original installer threaded the screws on the support bracket. I called Darren for help and his son arrived in less than an hour and completed the job. Was charged only an hour's labour when actually it was more like 2.

Darren and Zak did an excellent job and we are very pleased with the result. They replaced the bathroom suite, which included fitting a new bath, fitting a new shower and bath screen, fitting a new toilet, installing a new sink and vanity unit, fitting a new towel rail, re-tiling the whole bathroom from floor to ceiling and completing all of the finishing touches to a very professional high standard. Darren and his son fitted a new gas boiler in our property in Brockham, Surrey. Darren responded to my initial phone call immediately, he quoted for the job, we booked him up for 2 weeks later and the whole job was completed within a day. The final invoice was the same as the quote, everything was explained to us throughout the process and the work was carried out very professionally with minimum disruption. The whole installation took a day to complete and has left myself and my tenant very happy! Definitely recommend! Thank you Greenwood Heating!

Highly recommend Greenwood Heating Ltd. We had the daunting task of replacing our 17+ year old boiler. I called upon Greenwood and 3 other companies and Greenwood faired mid range on price overall. However Darren when visiting to quote was by far the most informative, to the point and professional. We were actually talking to an Engineer as opposed to a salesman-no pushy sales jargon etc Darren and his team arrived (8am) on time, worked tirelessly and efficiently to have the boiler fitted within the day, were very polite, their workmanship and clear-up was faultless. He is very clean and very tidy. He's polite, brilliant and very good with elderly people. He comes when he says he will come. Excellent in every respect.
